Wae Rebo Village is a remote traditional village in Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, located at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level. Known as the “land above the clouds,” the village is world-famous for its preservation of the seven traditional Mbaru Niang conical houses, and was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in 2012.
